Tuesday’s Tails: Tolson Is Waiting For You

UPDATE Wed, Nov 26: Still on standby. As luck would have it, the shelter had a potential chemical/gas leak on Fri, the day we were set to get the pups out. Everything turned out ok there and all animals & people are ok. But apparently it threw them into a tailspin, particularly with the backlog of spay neuters. We’re still waiting to hear official word from the shelter when the pooches can be released. Still hoping for a Thanksgiving Day miracle, but either way we’ve been assured that the 2 are safe. Keep the faith, folks!!!
UPDATE Mon, Dec 1: Still on standby. Foster need is urgent. The little fella is 6 months old, about 38 lbs and, as the shelter folks describe, absolutely hilarious!

Monday Mischief: Mini’s Death Wish
Mini Cooper decided that Noel’s tail would be a good toy to play with while I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner.
Sometimes I think that kitten has a death wish. Actually, Noel was pretty patient with her. I am amazed how the older cats (well at least Nine and Noel) know she is a baby and tolerate crazy behavior. In a few months, they will no longer allow her to get away with things. I actually think Noel was kind of purposely playing with her. Do you think she would do that?

Black and White Sunday: A Moment In The Sun
We were over playing at Amy’s, the yellow lab. Sofie thinks that her Mom has some of the best winter grass to lie in. She found a moment of sun on this really cold afternoon (hasn’t gotten above freezing all day). Happy Sunday!

Caturday: Insignificant Interloper
Nine is contemplating the best move into Stella’s jungle.
He is getting ready to make his big move; I think he is going to pounce on her!
Stella is not phased in the least. She owns this jungle and he is just an insignificant interloper.
I can not imagine a life without cats!
