Being that the felines don’t go out, this is as close as Mr. Nine gets to a nap in the garden.
He went outside once (for 3 days) and it scared him for years.
I cannot imagine a life without cats!

Nine has decided that the big dog bed is his this week. Funny how they move around.
Louise is the only dog in the house that any cat would even think of curling up with.

Memories: On a hot summer day, in 2014, Louise’s boyfriend next door, Mojo, wasn’t home but they went over to swim with his baby sister Zelda instead. It was so much fun. Louise really wanted to play with Zelda’s toy but she would not go in the pool to get it. Louise doesn’t like to get wet (she hates rain too). Sofie, on the other hand, was brave and got all the way in. She loves to swim but has trouble with puppies. That day swimming won over puppy fear.

The three of them all pointing in different directions made me think about that scene from The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy meets the Scarecrow and doesn’t know which way to go:
Dorothy: Now which way do we go?
Scarecrow: Pardon me. That way is a very nice way…[pointing]
Dorothy: Who said that?
[Toto barks at the Scarecrow]
Dorothy: Don’t be silly, Toto. Scarecrows don’t talk!
Scarecrow: It’s pleasant down that way too!…[pointing in another direction]
Dorothy: That’s funny. Wasn’t he pointing the other way?
Scarecrow: Of course, people do go both ways [pointing in both directions] That’s the trouble. I can’t make up my mind. I haven’t got a brain. Only straw.
Dorothy: How can you talk if you haven’t got a brain?
The Scarecrow: I don’t know. But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking, don’t they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you’re right.

Peanut moved into a new apartment that allows pets. So now, meet my new grandcat – GLITCH (occassionally called Noodle) – 4 months old and 5 pounds.
