You can see that Nine is jealous.
Mommy is having foot surgery next week and won’t be able to walk for awhile. She got this new leg wedge pillow to keep her foot above her heart. I have decided that it is my new favorite place to sit. It is mine and I like it! I guess Mommy will have to cancel her surgery because she will have nowhere to put her giant booted foot. Oh well, the dogs will be happy. She won’t be able to walk them for 2 months, which means, lots of cat cuddle time with me! I like that idea too!

Mom is away on a business trip, so we are reposting one of our favorite Caturday’s from years gone by. Hope you enjoy.
I was trying to go to sleep last night and the kitties discovered a Cranefly over my bed.
They spent a good hour trying to catch it. I don’t know if they every did because I finally turned out the light.
I can not imagine a life without cats.

Mini and Lulu have a special relationship.
Lu doesn’t really pay attention much to the cats, but she and Mini kiss quite often. Mini really likes her.
On the other paw, Mini is not too fond of Charles. And for good reason, he bullies her off laps and is generally a stupid dog.
Body language can tell you a great deal at the zoo.

Everyone is trying to catch the sun spot. Sometimes they all want the window at the same time. Gosh those winter windows sure do get dirty. The cats don’t mind. Sun gets through all the same.

Noel, the Christmas Cat, and the baby, Mini Cooper enjoying the late winter rays. Mini is leaning on the ‘fire stick’ plant. I know it is poisonous and that it could burn their mouths if they eat it, but they don’t seem to bother with it. This is the second one we have grown in the house. It is also called a Pencil Cactus.

I just love watching Nine’s face as Mini Cooper decides that she has the upper paw. Do you notice how in each photo his eyes get bigger and bigger?

In the winter we bring the large deck plants inside and winter them over in the bathtub. It’s the cat’s personal jungle. They spend a lot of time playing around them, chewing on them, and, of course, hiding in them. I actually miss the plants when spring comes and we take them outside again. I don’t miss the use of the tub because it is too big and takes 2 full tanks of hot water to fill. When Peanut was little (around 6 or 7), I used to use it as a swimming pool for her and her little friends. Now it is the winter atrium and cat velodrome.
