Black and White Sunday: We’re Back!
Winter fun down by the river. Yes we are back. It has been a long January. Mommy had the flu, and so did much of the family, so the month of January break was very needed. We dogs got very protective of Mommy because she did not move from the couch for days and days and days, We are happy she is back to her routine again and moving around. She now takes us down to the river to play in the snow and sleet and mud. We love that. We are looking forward to a great 2015.

Black and White Sunday: Shared Traditions
Stella and Noel are in the window with Hanukkah lights and the Christmas pickles. We run out of places to put all the holiday treats we make.
Louise is a great helper when it comes to selecting a Christmas tree. And yes, we have down sized so much the tree fits in the trunk.

We were over playing at Amy’s, the yellow lab. Sofie thinks that her Mom has some of the best winter grass to lie in. She found a moment of sun on this really cold afternoon (hasn’t gotten above freezing all day). Happy Sunday!

Black and White Sunday: Great Memories @ DogDaz
Sepia-tone Sunday (brown and white?) of Louise and Sofie when SoSo first came to live with us. Louise was like, “get this little thing off of me!” Love to look back and remember those moments. Sofie was all: “love me, love me, love me!” Have a wonderful Sunday!

Black and White Sunday: Snoozing With Mello Yello
Mello Yello is, or was, an AirDog toy. Over the years the girls have chewed off most of the yellow skin and the rubber is missing on one of the spokes. But, Sofie loves to carry it around, and Lulu still plays tug with me (I hold what is left of some fabric). After peanut butter filled marrow bones one evening (a favorite at the Zoo), Sofie stole Louise’s finished bone, took Mello, and fell fast asleep in the living room. I love when she is content and you can see the little smile on her. Don’t you always wonder what they are dreaming?
