Wonderful Wednesday: Cardinal
I was standing in the yard with the dogs and one of the many many cardinals that live in my yard, graced me with a quiet moment so that I could take a photo of him. The other day, there were 4 vibrant red males in my mock orange bush, but alas, I did not have my phone/camera.

Monday Mischief: Lulu’s Blue Dog
Isn’t it funny how the animals chose a favorite toy for a while and then move on to another? This week, for Louise, it is the blue dog.
She lies on it. She carries it around and wants to play tug. I can’t wait to see what toy it will be next week.

Caturday: An Exhausting Day
It appears that Noel pulled out a whole claw and now has a fungal infection going on. She did not like going to the doctor, but she was as good as gold. She even let them take her in the backroom and cut her nails. The pinky claw grew back thick and dark and I was worried it was going to turn into her pad. They cut it really short. Let’s see how it comes back in. She was happy to get home and go directly to sleep in Louise’s office bed.

Usually, she lies on the towel on the pillow to the right, but she changed her mind. So shortly after this shot, Charlie climbed up on the pillow and laid there instead.

The month of February, even with an extra day, seemed to pass in the blink of an eye.
Ending the month thinking of my Squash E. Bear, gone 10 years in February. Always in my heart!

Black and White Sunday: Lullaby
What I wouldn’t give to sleep like a cat, in a pure state of grace. Noel loves to sleep on any blanket or pile of soft stuff that she can find. I, on the other hand, could be in the most comfortable bed in the world and would not find the uninhibited peace of deep slumber. Oh, to be a cat at the DogDaz Zoo.

Caturday: Office Mate
Noel is making me lose my mind this week. I am working from home and she just has to be part of the action.
It is one thing to just lie on my papers, but she has figured out that my primary focus is on the big screen, so let’s sit in front of that.
I can hear her little pea brain thinking “…maybe I will lie on the keys of the laptop and bring up screens that Mom never knew existed.”
Don’t you think everyone should have an OFFICE CAT?

Wonderful Wednesday: Sharing A Nap
I am used to Nine stealing Louise’s bed. He does it often. And Lulu usually doesn’t mind. She sleeps on the carpet instead.
But for some reason, Lulu decided she wanted to be in her bed even if Nine was there. This is something I have never seen before at the DogDaz Zoo. Especially because there is another dog bed right next to that one that Louise could have settled into. They never cease to amaze me.
