Hello, Charles here. I had a haircut this week and I am super handsome if I must stay so myself. I thought I would share with you a few things that Mom does to make my grooming experience easy. Of course, Sonya is the best groomer in the world so I never give her trouble.
- TOUCH MY PAWS, OFTEN. No dog in his right mind likes his feet touched, so MOM got me used to it but touching my paws often (but not necessarily for a long time). It made it easier for groomers to do my nails.
- BRUSH ME, A LOT. Mom brushes her hair every day to keep the knots out and brushes me as much as possible too, to help me stay mat free.
- CHECK MY EARS. A lot of stuff sticks in my ears, Mom cleans them for me because I can’t.
- CHECK MY NAILS. Since I don’t run in the wild my nails don’t wear down and need clipping.
Grooming me regularly so I stay clean and neat is such a nice thing. Lucky me!

When I come back on my next trip around the wheel (if you believe in that stuff), I want to be a cat at the DogDaz Zoo.
What do you want to be?
I cannot imagine a life without cats!

Our kitten is 5 years old today. I don’t know how that happened. She was just brand new.
Mini Cooper is a cat dog. She wants to be with the dogs wherever they are.
She is the most loving and sweet cat I have ever know. Lucky us!
Happy birthday!

Today is Memorial Day in the United States of America
I repost their story every year because soldier dogs are truly amazing heroes and we must always honor our troops and our service animals and all the fallen spirits that have been taken, for oh, too many reasons. Take a moment, right now, just a few seconds, and be thankful for the wonderful service people that work so hard to stop some really terrible things from happening around the world and remember those that gave their lives for our freedom.
Look at these faces!

Dogs are not only our best friends, but they are also an incredible asset to our safety forces. Thank you to all the handlers and animals that keep us safe around the world and on this MEMORIAL DAY to all those who lost their lives in service – Your friends at DogDaz Zoo

You would never know that only moments before he was zooming around the house and climbing up trees and scratching at posts.
