Grammie loves candy. So for her 95th birthday, we gave her a ton. If I had asked the cats to pose like this around a 5 lb bag of chocolate, you know that would have never happened. They are all trouble makers in their own right but as a gang, watch out! They will knock everything you hold dear off the counter and into dog territory.
It is getting ridiculously hot outside. Mom tried to walk me before the sun was up, but it was still too hot. Let Louise go with her, she likes it. Not me! I am not going out there unless I absolutely have to.
Who’s with me on this? I are going to boycott walks! NO WALKS! TOO HOT!
What kind of mischief did you get into today?
Remember parents, if you place your hand on the pavement and it is too hot for you, it is too hot for paws!
The only one that wants to walk these days is Louise. We go out in the early morning when it is ‘cooler’ (78 degrees by 7 AM). She is one of those dogs that must be walked so I watch the temperature and I make sure to walk before it hits 80. She is loving this alone time with me.
Sofie refuses to go outside: thinking that there are fireworks or thunder or it’s too hot. And when I say refuses, imagine a donkey sitting on its behind refusing to move.
I am not stubborn. I just want to do things my way!
Charles, well he doesn’t like to get up before noon, so the idea of walking to him in the morning is just ridiculous.
It is not often that Stella slows down enough for me to get a decent picture. If you remember, she is not in the general house population of cats so catching her in pictures takes some determined effort on my part. She lives in her own room and that is the way she likes it. Occasionally. Louise or Sofie will visit, but she hates Charles, and she does not get along with any of the cats. By herself, she is a sweet girl who will sit on your lap for hours if you let her. Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk. I guess this solitary life leaves her with a lot to say.
