Black and White Sunday: Milky Toes & Sun Flowers

31 Jul

7.31.16Louise stands at the edge of the deck for the longest time. I guess she is surveying her territory. On the other side of the pool is a busy bird feeder and there is always a lot of activity going on. This is a really good vantage point from which to see if the villainous squirrels are stupid enough to come into the area. I feel sorry for the squirrels in our yard because when I let the dogs out – zoom, zoom, zoom – they know just where the squirrels are going to be and they run them up the trees, fences, and power lines.

I love this shot because it really shows off Louise’s milky rear toes. The nails are white in those spots and black everywhere else. These are truly the DOGDAZ of summer.

Have a wonderful black and white Sunday!

Thanks, Bunny friend. We used to have wild bunnies and the disappear about 10 years ago when the foxes came. Yesterday we saw one in the front yard!!!!! Maybe they are back.

When K8 was little she had a lovey named MilkyToe. We toyed with naming Louise that, in honor of her lovely little toes. 🙂

Aww, Louise has adorable milky toes! I like the tiny pop of yellow on the sunflower. Those pesky squirrels never learn do they?
