Love the cartoon. Hate dealing with the fireworks. Fortunately, Harper Lee and Tallulah aren’t really phased. But our terrier-mix rescue, Lexi, was a total basket case with fireworks and thunderstorms. People really should be more considerate of dogs (and people) who do not react well. Please leave fireworks to the professional shows. It makes for a happier and safer Fourth of July.:-)

Fortunately, our least favorite pyro neighbor moved just before the Fourth, so our evening was relatively quiet. Hope yours was too!

How lucky for you. It was noisy but Mom made sure most of it was drowned out, except when we wanted to go potty. Happy Summer.

I hope that all will have a good independence day… I wonder why we humans have to celebrate always with noisy stuff… and I fear our fireworks on bastille day…no idea what phenny will do.

Fireworks scare me! I imagine I will be hearing lots of it this weekend because it’s Canada’s birthday. I am going to hide in my mom’s lap.
