Wordless Wednesday: Snow Scout, Sofie
Sofie likes to scout out the street to make sure that it is safe for Mom and Louise to walk on.
Happy Wednesday!
This is a Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop. Thanks to BlogPaws for the hop. Head over there and see what they are blogging about.

Monday Mischief: Fish TV Time
When I was in college, a zillion years ago, I too would watch fish TV. It was the rare person in those days that actually had a TV in college and none of us had computers to watch stuff on (plus there was no stuff to watch yet). With 3 fish tanks in the house I still love to watch fish TV. It is so wonderful to follow the different communities and see how they move about the environment. Mini Cooper is funny because she is so sure that she can catch the fish. She stands on the side of the kitchen tank (the one above is the living room tank) and thinks if she places her paw along the side that she can scoop the fish into it. She cracks me up!
(Picture by Peanut – she was home for school last weekend)
Fish TV’s other benefits: it is very calming and there are no commercials.
What mischief did you get into today?

Black and White Sunday: Bogarting The Sun Spot
Louise found a nice sun square on the kitchen floor late in the afternoon coming through the western window. The late day tones made the second photo almost black and white with out me having to do anything.
Louise was keeping that sun spot all to herself, as you can see evidenced by poor little Sofie in the shadows. Not a lot of sun spots this winter to lie in. You have to take them when you can.
Happy SUNday!
This is part of the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop. Thanks to Dachshund Nola and Sugar for hosting.

DogDaz Zoo: My New Bros
This abandon endangered baby drill monkey has a great time with her Keeper’s 2 Jack Russell Terrier puppies. We see wonderful friendships like this because of the power of the internet and learn about endangered animals that we would never otherwise know about. I feel so lucky. – DogDaz
Caturday: I Want To Be Alone
Another great K8 cat capture, this time of Stella yawning. Stella is now living by herself in the cat room. It seems she was the cause of much upsetness for the other cats and for months the zoo was out of whack. She was beating up Noel and shredding Mini, and eventually we figured out that it was her that was peeing on our bed. She even started fighting with Nine. Once we gave her her own little world, everything got better for everyone. She is very happy to be in her private space and the other cats have calmed down (a Feliway mister is helping too). I have never seen her so happy. Cats are such territorial animals. Though I would like to believe that multicat/animal households are fine, most cats would probably prefer their own space. Actually, I think they are loners at heart and we make them community creatures by forcing them to exist in our world together (how human-centric of me!). Stella is doing great now that we figured out what was bothering her: she wants to be alone!
I want to give a shout out to Dr. Levitsky at Healing Paws, who helped us realize that the trouble was Stella and not Noel. We thought Noel, who was getting beat up, was the cat that maybe should be by herself, but it was actually the bully, Stella, not the bullied that needed the space.
I can not imagine a life without cats!
