Wordless Wednesday: Sleepfeet
Before I closed up the guest bed, I decided to watch a little TV in the den. The dogs are not allowed in my sleeping bed, but they can come up on the den coach with me, and hence, the den bed when it is open. They were in heaven taking a nap with Mommy. I have to admit, I liked it too, but with cats already taking up most of my sleeping bed, I don’t think that there would be any room left for humans if everyone was allowed up. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Monday Mischief: Pre-Mo / Post-Mo
As I have reported a million times before, Miss Louise is madly in love with Mojo Rising (he is the Labby Hunk next door). She is different with him than any other being. She has been his girlfriend since she was a puppy (he is about 1 1/2 years older). Look at the smile on her face. That is love if I ever saw it.

Black and White Sunday: Telling Him A Tale or Two
Louise loves loves loves Mojo (come back tomorrow to see more). Here she is telling him a thing or two about what he should be doing. Mostly it is “go get the ring toy so we can play tug.” She is verbal with him in a way that she isn’t with any other being. When she is with him, he barks and she bays (it must be the hound in her). It is so fun to watch. Whoooooooooo!

Monday Mischief: The Guest Bed
Aunt B was coming to visit, so Mom turned the den couch into a bed (it’s a futon). But the den couch is where we lay and watch TV with Mom, so this must be somewhere for us too, right? Louise jumped up the minute the bed was made, so Mom put our blankets on it.
It looked like a really good idea so I jumped on and made myself comfortable.
Aunt B won’t be able to resist this cuteness, will she? Now we wait! – Sofie Bear (I love company)

Monday Mischief: DogDaz Of Summer
Has it really been 3 weeks since our last post. It is weird taking off that much time after so many years of blogging everyday. Since then Mom has taught 3 blogging courses at the college, did her day job, moved Peanut into her own apartment at university, and taken us for about a million short walks because it is tooo hottt for long one. We are now into the DOG DAZ of Summer! All we want to do is snooze inside the air conditioned house. Sofie won’t go outside half the time because she does not like to sweat (but she does love to swim). Louise thinks maybe the front door exits to a cooler place than the back, so she is always trying a different exit.
It looks like a normal day outside until Mom opens the door. Then…. blast! Heat comes at us like no tomorrow (what does that mean?). You would think we live in the tropics not the mid-Atlantic. Better to stay inside with the cats.
We missed being on the internet for a few weeks, it was hard. But, we are back. Now to go to all your blogs and catch up on our reading.
