If you know Noel, the Christmas cat, you know that the bench chairs for the kitchen table are her favorite place to be. Tucked in under the table with protective bars and a comfy cushion. From this perch she can watch the floor action, mostly of silly dogs. Occasionally the kitten, Mini Cooper, will try to engage her and get her to play, but Noel doesn’t really want to move until dinner time, unless of course, Mom is sitting near by trying to read the Sunday newspaper. Then she will get up to try and help keep the pages from turning.
Have a lovely Sunday!

Sometimes, Sofie just lies on Peanut’s bed and pines for her to come home from college. It is so pitifully sad. The animal’s love Peanut. This is part of the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop. Thanks to Dachshund Nola and Sugar for hosting.

We are so excited that we can sleep out in the spring sun again. The deck is warm, though wet, on a spring afternoon. I am finding all these really cool things that I lost in the yard over the winter. I even brought Mom a squirrel bone yesterday, but she made me drop it and threw it away. I don’t see why I can’t eat dead smelly animals? It is my yard! – Sofie Bear (aka Soda Pop)This is part of the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop. Thanks to Dachshund Nola and Sugar for hosting.

Mom bought us these toys called Peeps for Passover/Easter chewing time. They are squeakers, just like I like them. Mine is pink. Check out Monday Mischief tomorrow and you will see what we do with them. This is part of the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop. Thanks to Dachshund Nola and Sugar for hosting.

This is one of my favorite shots of the dogs waiting to go out back. Waiting, that is so much a part of my animals lives. They wait to get up and out of their kennels in the morning. They wait for breakfast. Wait for a walk. Wait for a snack. Wait for another walk. Wait for me to come home from work. Wait for another walk. Wait for me to play with them. Wait to go out. Wait to come in. Wait for dinner. I guess maybe they should be called ‘waiters’ instead of ‘dogs.’
