I always feel like I am interrupting something very important when I walk into a room and the cats turn around and throw me this stare like “excuse me, but we were in the middle of discussing something.” The other day there was a workman coming in and I needed to throw the dogs somewhere, so I went to put them in my bedroom but all 3 cats were on the bed ‘discussing something’ and looked at me like ‘Heck, No you are not!’ So, the dogs came into my office with me. I would never want to interrupt a good group meeting, would you?
When I whine too much, which is like every night Mom says, she takes the brush out and starts to brush me. I hate to be brushed, so I move just out of reach. Sometimes Mom will brush Louise, but her coat is so short, that even though she sheds 24/7/365 days a year, the brush doesn’t do much. Me, on the other paw, has so much fur that you could make another dog. The other day when Mom was brushing me I ran away to Lulu. We held paws in solidarity so that Mom would stop this brush abuse. We girls have to stick together.
PS. That little dodo Charles loves to be brushed. He is just so weird. I would never hold hands with him!
The cold wind has started to blow and the sky keeps floating down to the ground. Sofie just wants to lay outside in the cool leaves. Lulu on the other hand says it is sweater weather.
Someone, named Noel the Christmas cat, has decided, this week, that my bed is the place she wants to be, and has banned me from trying to make it. And, of course, she wins. Just look at that face! Would you cross her?
Happy Black and White Sunday!
Just another DogDaz morning at the zoo ❤

Noel, the Christmas cat here. Let’s talk about stupid siblings today. I have no idea why my siblings, Mini Cooper and Nine, have to get as high up on things as they possibly can. I know the dogs told you that Mom had the carpet cleaned. Well, everything was piled up on the table. Then I looked over and Mini was on top of a whole tower of things on the dining room table trying to get the bell hanging from the ceiling fan.
Luckily, she didn’t come crashing down and bring the fan and all the boxes with her.
These kids! You just never know what trouble they are going to get into.

It takes a lot of us to help Mom get ready for bed. You would think that all she needs to do is pull down her covers and jump in, but noooooo! Louise needs 3 little cookies on her bed (or she paces); Charlie needs one and he wants Mini Cooper to go away while he eats it; Sofie wants to know if there are any extra cookies in the nightstand. Noel wants nothing to do with all these dogs and has left to go see if there are any cat treats in the kitchen and Nine is downstairs sleeping in his bed in the laundry room (until about 3 am when he and Mini pick on Noel and wake everyone up). How would Mom ever get to bed without us?
(Yes, Mom collects M&M machines (if you noticed them in the bookcase). Kind of like she collects silly dogs and cats 🙂
Mom had the carpet cleaned. Oh my what a disruption that was! She had to pick up all our toys and the beds. And the carpet was moist for a few days so she didn’t want to put the beds back. Put Nine was not happy about that so he laid down where the dog bed usually is. That confused Louise. She was not sure what to do. So Mom laid a sheet on the floor and she liked that. But then Mom put the big bed back and Nine took it until Sofie chased him away. Finally, the beds are back and life is back to normal. If you call a cat sleeping in the dog bed normal, well it is around here.
