Sofie has very little patience in this terrible heat (105F degrees (41C) again today). I really cannot blame her, but I thought it would be cute to match her impatience with the impatiens plants. Another name for them is Touch-Me-Nots. That kind of describes how we all feel in this heat.
She’s losing her impatiens. Mommy made a funny. She was not amused.

Dog-gone it’s hot! These must be the DOGDAZ (dayz) of summer.
We have so much fun swimming with Mojo and Zelda in their dog pool.
Those Labradors love to swim.
Lulu will not get in the water, no matter how hot it is. Maybe it is because she is more of a Hound dog than a Lab. Who knows? She hates to get wet.
Sofie love love loves to get down and splashy. It takes 3 days for her Sheltie coat to dry but she doesn’t care. BarkOutLoud!

Sofie is getting ready to help with the raspberry harvest. They came about a week early this year, I guess because of the weather being so mild. The birds hide in the hedge and disappear them very quickly if we don’t get out early. Every morning when the dogs and I check the pool, I have a pre-breakfast of fruit right from the bush. I got smart this year and put a bunch in the freezer for August. Have a wonderful Sunday!

We are digging (literally) the shade and trying to stay cool.
Mom said we can stay out until dark if we want.
