Thankful Thursday: We’ve Been Collared
We are now the proud, and thankful, owners of 2 beautiful handmade collars that we won at the Mollie and Jaylord Auction, and handcrafted by JoAnn of Sandy Springs Chesapeakes. We are so thankful for these amazing collars, because….. Mommy actually bid on a cat collar (she was going to give as a gift because our cats are indoors and don’t wear anything but fur). When she won JoAnn asked what colors Mommy wanted but then she said she would make us a dog collar instead if we would like. So…. Mommy ordered one for Sofie (because she is smaller and she figured it would be more ‘cat’ size). But…. JoAnn made the first one too big, so she sent both and now we both have wonderful matching sister collars. Yeah yeah yeah! They are sooooo cool. Thank you.

Wordless Wednesday: Enough Boomers Already!
Mommy thinks that this stretchy shirt thingy will make me feel less crazy when the big boomers start outside the window. She says that there are elves in the sky rolling balls into pins and when they hit them it makes those big smashing sounds. I am not sure that I believe her but the shirt does make me kind of sleepy. I really only feel better when I am lying on Mommy’s feet and, of course, when they stop making all that racket.
And then just when the thunder stopped there was all these crack crack crack sounds from the house next door. Mommy said that it was a silly holiday where people like to blow themselves up and shoot gun powder into the air. Bowling elves in the sky and then crackers. Where’s a girl to hide? Oh, Peanut’s bed, of course, with Louise and Nine. We were all kind of shook up. Why don’t people do anything quietly!
We are speechless! Thank you, Peanut, for saving us, and Mommy, for my new thunder shirt.
Happy Wednesday!

Black and White Sunday: Ground Control To Major Sofie
Back in the “Cone of Glory” again. Poor baby just can not get over these allergies. Now she is biting her tail. Changed food and now adding Omega-3 oil. Please let me find the right combo for my little astro-nut.
Just a shout out to my baby human, Peanut, on your 20th bday today. You are the dogs favorite, after Mommy, of course.

DogDaz Zoo: Get Your Stripe On

Source: http://webecoist.momtastic.com
Please remember that fireworks are scary to many animals (and humans, like me). So be respectful of your neighbors if shooting of boomers and keep your pets inside once the sun goes down. More animals are lost on July 4th than any other day of the year because they are running scared. Make sure to have your pet’s ID tags on their collar. Be smart, be safe, and most of all, be free.
Thank you to all who serve to keep us free. I pray that all wars will someday end and we will have peace and prosperity throughout the lands.

Wordless Wednesday: Transporting Baby
Peanut and I transported this very cute and shy pocket pittie from a shelter in Delaware to a foster home in Maryland. We called her ‘Baby.’ She was such a sweetie. Would you have room in your heart for her? If so, please contact Canine Nation. She brightened our day. No words are needed to see how happy she was from some attention. She did not want to leave us when we dropped her off.
Happy Wednesday!
