Both Gertrude and The Muffin Man (aka Muffy) are gone (picture from 2011), but sometimes, when I look to my left from my computer, out of the corner of my eye it seems like they are still there under the window. But alas! They are not, it is just a wisp of cat hair floating by.
I can not imagine a life without cats!

DogDaz is very sad with the too early passing of Robin WIlliams. Hope this little video brings happy memories. There really are no words when something as sad as this occurs. My thoughts are with all those who suffer such pain inside themselves. Scientists have been unable to explain whether or not animals are able to consciously end their own lives, but we know that humans can. I hope that animals can’t. – Lorian

Sometimes when we go to the dog park it is filled with black dogs, other days it might be brown dogs, or Shepards, or Pit Bulls. Today was a Labby day at the park. We don’t mind who is there – we are mutts and have a little bit of everyone in us, so we are all family!

Noel is trying to catch up on her blog reading. It has become so difficult to post 365 days per year and still read all the blog posts of her cyberfriends. There must be a better way, but she has just not found it. Seems like all the Reader apps are limited. How do you keep up with your blog reading?

We have 3 tanks in the house. Each one seems to hold a different fascination for Mr. Nine. This is the kitchen tank and it is easy to sit on the counter and watch the fish swim by. Also, the pump is pretty strong so their is a lot of current which makes for a lot of activity. I have found him trying to get into the tanks every once and a while. Not sure what he would do if he actually did. Neither Noel nor Stella hold much interest in the fish.
I can not imagine a life without cats. Happy Caturday.

I opened the pool filter basket to clean it and found 2 unlikely guests. They only had a few minutes of strength left to hang on from what I could tell. I placed them under a bush. They must have survived, because when I looked back a few minutes later, they were not there. In all these years I have never had live salamanders in the pool. The next day, weirdly, I had a frog.
