I am going through animal withdrawal and it is really hard. I have only seen 2 dogs in the week since I got here and no cats. One dog was a scruffy little thing dodging traffic (I saw him from the bus while I was going to work and was so worried about him). The other was a white Scotty on a leash. I have heard a few birds in the trees but have not seen any yet. The best I can show you is some local flowers – does anyone know what they are? They are red and fuzzy. Hopefully, some animals will cross my path in the next few weeks so I can blog about them.
I miss my furries (and humans), and obviously, I could not last without popping up in the blog once and awhile, because I miss all of you. Well off to bed, still jet lagged by 13 hours.
(Hey when I pressed the publish button it told me this was my 1500th post. How cool is that!)

Mommy’s little beggers are hard to resist sometimes. They are also a good prewash before I do the dishes, especially for sticky stuff.
Before I left we were sharing our usual morning peanut butter breakfast, they in their marrow bones, me, on a banana. Louise always finishes first, then Sofie starts to whine because she wants more, so I give up and give them whatever is felt on my plate. 😉
I love my little beggers and miss them much. ❤

Ok everyone…THESE are among the chicken treats responsible for killing dogs or making them seriously ill. Vets everywhere are now warning everyone to stop giving your dogs these treats. They are slowly shutting down dog’s kidneys and it is because of something they have in them, still as yet UNKNOWN. The fact that they don’t know what the contaminant is, is why the
FDA has not pulled these treats from stores. Do not buy ANY treats made in China, as that is where these contaminated, poisonous products are coming from.The FDA has received over 600 complaints on these….other brands are
Canyon Creek Ranch and
DOGSWELL. Anyone feeding their dog chicken treats needs to look at the package carefully as the words “Made in China” can be very small… do not be fooled by the phrase “An American Company” they are using in large print!It’s a huge issue and is still being investigated! 4. Tell people 7 things about you.
(1) Nine is our 9th cat.
(2) When Louise is tired she will go sit outside her kennel until I open the door so that she can go to sleep.
(3) Sofie will sit on the other side of the room from her kennel and will refuse to go to bed, just like any respectible 3 year old.
(4) Noel does not like to poop in the pan (you may not have really wanted to know that – sorry).
Who me?
(5) Stella likes to eat her dinner in the kitten room, even though she is 2 and everyone else eats in the kitchen.
(6) Some animals really leave a hole in your heart and I miss Muffy and Squash almost every day.

(7) I am going to Shenzhen, China for the next 6 weeks for work (I got laid off in July and started my own company in August and I take work where I can, and this is the first pay engagement). I have set up the blog with special everyday posts because I am not sure if WordPress access will be available where I will be working. I do hope that everyone will keep viewing DogDaz Zoo everyday until I return in mid-December. There are some really special days between now and then. and if you don’t visit, you may miss the fun (and the parties). I ❤ my blog friends.
